The HPI 2-Ten ignition system is designed for high-performance and racing engines that demand maximum performance.
Thanks to the lightweight rotor, flywheel mass is significantly reduced, allowing the engine to rev up faster, accelerate better, and reach high RPMs more easily. In addition, the HPI delivers a stable ignition pulse up to over 20,000 RPM.
This model is equipped with a 40W light coil, allowing for the use of lighting and other electrical accessories.
The CDI has a fixed ignition curve and provides accurate and reliable ignition at high RPMs.
Adjustment
On most Malossi 172cc, Gilardoni 180cc, HT, and Toronda cylinders, a pre-ignition of 4.2 mm before TDCis a good starting point.
⚠️ Always check with your tuner or supplier to find out which pre-ignition setting is recommended for your setup before adjusting the ignition.
